If you use provisioning for clients, please set this in the provisioning template. Or if you set up devices one by one, it should be easy enough to set codec priority in the device.
Also adjust codec preference in Fusion under Advanced -> Variables

Yes it is the call group but I have a suspicion it might work without one. I think you can have more than one call group for an extension.
Feature code or programmed button should work. We use feature code.
We use Snom 720 phones and from memory we don't have the issue you describe. I'll check tomorrow and post back.....

I have added another version of the extension monitoring script in the new thread mentioned above. New script can take multiple domains and extesions under those domains.

It doesnt look like a fail2ban issue but either a client side NAT or MTU issue. Do you use any NAT support parameters in SPA? What type of internet connection?
That's the recovery firmware for Snom phones, nothing to do with Cisco provisioning.
Your tftp log says file not found. Did you try getting the fie using tftp client from another computer? Which tftp server are you using?
