Gateway failure alert script for Debian 8

Since you've nicely explained your requirements, I thought I would just write a script for it: http://www.pbxforums.com/threads/extension-registration-monitoring-script-with-email-alert.790/post-3244 Hope it helps :D

Extension monitoring script- Default and Multi-Tenant

Though I don't have any use for this script now, I know some of you have customers registering from multiple locations back to your Fusion box. The script requires that you add extensions you want to monitor. You'll only need one or two extensions per location added to the script. If you enter...

Gonna upgrade to v2 of the forum software today

Good on ya DigitalDaz. The new theme looks fab and feels a bit quicker to load or is that because of the backend upgrade to php7 or something?

    Provision Cisco 9740?

Here are some details but I am not sure whether provisioning generated the files or I manually created them. This was done a couple of years ago. Fusion is an older version as well (4.0) Also make sure the SIP password is a simple one (just numbers and letters) with less than 15...

Gateway failure alert script for Debian 8

Wouldn't you be better off using the action url function on the phone?

    Provision Cisco 9740?

They are very good hardwarewise... I have one working on a fusion box. Will try and post some useful info tomorrow.

    Multi-Location newb question

When bypass media is active, RTP media won't go through the Fusion box. This will be particularly helpful if you have a large enough office where Fusion runs in the cloud, so media between extensions can stay within the LAN (hopefully!).

How to create an unmonitored trunk?

Try did_number@ip-of-vps:5080 You should have the did_number as the destination number in an inbound route and point the inbound route to a destination, ivr, ring group, extension etc. Make sure firewall on your vps allows the providers ip through. Also take a look at this thread as well ...

Constant Calls from 99 or 1000

Any port forwarding on the router or uPnP enabled? Edit: Just saw DigitalDaz's post below so I believe your Fusion is on a public IP.

    Inbound and Outbound Routes

Please try this regex for international outbound route: ^(?:00|\+)([1-9]\d{9,})$ The for the last bridging line, choose one of the formats depending on what your provider expects: sofoa/gateway/gw1/00$1 sofia/gateway/gw1/+$1 sofia/gateway/gw1/$1

    Multi-Location newb question

There are situations where you could send media between clients bypassing Fusion: I don't think it will work in your situation though, since separate VPN tunnels are involved.

Hi Matthew, Would you be able to post a few sanitised screenies of the dialplan blocks in question please?

basic extension registration with non-standard port

Oh I forgot to add: I think port 5160 in FreePBX is for CHAN_SIP and port 5060 for PJSIP, the two SIP drivers battling it out in the Asterisk land :) With CHAN_SIP you have the option to specify a client port as well, where as PJSIP doesn't appear to have that option.

basic extension registration with non-standard port

I don't think there is no need to have different ports but Cisco is sometimes "special". As I said, you can enter any port as local sip port in spa 8000 as long as Fusion is always at 5060. Correct!

basic extension registration with non-standard port

I sort of understand the question. Under extension settings in FreePBX, you can define a different sip port for the client to use. When it comes to FusionPBX, you don't define the client sip port here. If you want different extensions in spa 8000 to use different local ports, please change them...

    distinctive ring

Not too sure where the confusion is; anyhow let me try and explain this again. On the Yealink -> Settings -> Ring page choose your ring tone and give it a name: Now in Fusion ring group enter this string for distinctive ring : http://localhost;info=MyRing3

Really trying hard to get auto provisioning on my own

I use my own provisioning files (full split files supplied by Polycom) and yes, no config settings in the main file. <?xml version="1.0" standalone="yes"?> <!-- Default Master SIP Configuration File--> <!-- For information on configuring Polycom VoIP phones please refer to the --> <!--...

    distinctive ring

Hi Howard, So I take it that you are hosting the FusionPBX server? How do you separate different customers and their group of extensions? Are you using multi-domain at all? The easiest way to implement alert-info is to use "Distinctive Ring" option under "Ring Groups". You'll need a ring group...

    distinctive ring

I presume since you posted this on the FusionPBX forum, there is a local FusionPBX server the T42's are registered to. There are different ways you can achieve what you are after. Since T42 is a multi-line phone, you could simply provision a second set of extensions for the second DID and set...

Recommendation for best VoIP phone to use with FusionPBX

+1 for Yealink. A detailed description of requirements might change the recommendation though :)
