    Network Login

Yeah, that was my whole point. All the computers are on the same LAN and the login screen clearly comes up the same. I was wondering if there was some sort of cookie set during install, but I've never heard of such a thing before. I did try another user, and it did work just fine. Still...

    192.168.1.21 on both.

    Network Login

But why is it different over the LAN? That makes no sense to me.

    Proper Order of Configuration Steps

Yeah, I must have been subconsciously wishing for a new pickup. And thanks for that clarification. I am going to use that order and give it a new try.

    Yealink Contacts

So, configuring it as you say, then connecting it in Yealink web interface>Directory>Remote Phone Book should do the trick? The link requires the remote URL of the phone book location. Any thoughts there?

    Network Login

When I try to access the FusionPBX server from another computer on the network, I can type in the IP address and the login screen comes right up. But try as I might, the screen will not accept the log-in credentials that work fine on the server itself. What am I missing?

    Proper Order of Configuration Steps

I am finding an issue with a lack of clear direction over what comes first in the configuration of the PBX software. The provider says to start with the truck configuration. Of course there isn't anything named that in FusionPBX like there is in FreePBX, but we don't want to go there. I...

    Passwords and Usernames

There seems to be a little confusion over the use of passwords and usernames throughout the whole system. My provider supplies a username, passcode and domain. FusionPBX (and FreeSWITCH) uses a username and passcode within the configuration. My Yealink base and phone uses a username and...

    Unitel Voice

They responded that the use of the Port Forwarding in the gateway device was correct. Hope this helps the next person.

Me too. I hope they make a simple interface setting for this common problem.

    Error After Install

Well, guess what. I was able to find a new way to install and it worked just fine. Perhaps a step was missing or a variable was not passed on correctly. In any case, the error went away and the server's GUI interface was available. Thanks for your help. Much appreciated.

    Error After Install

FYI, as a long time professional, my many customers and students want the exact details. Computer professionals are supposed to know that. A misplaced 1 or 0 will ruin everything. Without precision nothing works in the computer arena. As to knowing where a prompt is, there has to be a simple...

    Error After Install

You made some mistakes in your post. Evidently, you included your prompt name in your commands. Very confusing. Also, there is no service command. And there is no /var/log/postgresql. If it helps you, I am using Debian 10.

    Error After Install

I received this message: error: SQLSTATE[08006] [7] could not connect to server: Connection refused Is the server running on host "127.0.0.1" and accepting TCP/IP connections on port 5432? It should be looking for 192.168.1.21. Does anyone know what this means? It appears that the install may...

    Invalid Username and/or Password

Okay, I was afraid of that. I think I will just start all over. (But darned if I can figure out what went wrong. I hope it doesn't keep me up at night or happen again.)

    Invalid Username and/or Password

That all may be true, but in my case it was simply https://192.168.1.21 and that always brought up the login. Always. It still does. No other address brings up a login screen. That one fact should point to the issue being the username and/or the password. Therefore, I am back where I...

Sorry, but the significance of that is lost on me. Please explain.

    Invalid Username and/or Password

Yes, I thought of that too. But it can't be since the URL displays the login screen.

In lieu of solution, how about how to uninstall and install fresh?

    Invalid Username and/or Password

Well, this is odd. I was just using the FusionPBX interface yesterday, but today I cannot log in. I get the error message "Invalid Username and/or Password". I made no conscious attempts at changing the password or username at all, and I cannot imagine why such a change could have occurred...
