Caller ID URL Lookup for Different Tenants

Hi, I'm looking into the possibility of performing a bespoke CID URL lookup per tenant, however, FusionPBX and FreeSWITCH guides point to the fact this can only be a global source? If each tenant has a different CRM / customer database, I don't want to give caller ID to a tenant that doesn't...

Outgoing CallerID on Follow me calls

That's exciting! Is there a proper / preferred process to follow to move to the master branch? Just want to ensure we don't run into any problems with future upgrades :)

Outgoing CallerID on Follow me calls

Ah OK, so just an upgrade of the source code via the Admin panel is needed? Or a full upgrade of everything? I'm already on 4.4 you see! Thanks again guys :D

Outgoing CallerID on Follow me calls

Oh nice one, thank you @markjcrane When will the next major version be released?

Outgoing CallerID on Follow me calls

It's definitely an issue with how the PHP code is configuring FreeSWITCH as shown above, is there a different format we can use so the CID doesn't error out? Removing that bit of PHP fixes it, but I don't want to have to worry about upgrading by butchering random bits of code :-)

Outgoing CallerID on Follow me calls

    Hi @markjcrane I'm on v.4.4.1

Outgoing CallerID on Follow me calls

Bump I'd love to make some progress on this - uncommenting them lines in the PHP code fixes the issue - but I'd like to figure out what in the above code is breaking caller ID when forwarding from a call center queue to FollowMe. It works when originating through a Ring Group, just not on the...

    Is port 5080 insecure?

Ah of course, Fail2ban has a rule doesn't it, I believe if an IP tries a destination that gets more than 3 (or something) 404 not found, it'll ban the IP address - therefore giving you that protection for abuse!

    Is port 5080 insecure?

Just looking to get some opinion really. A solution to many provider routing inbound call issues is to point them to 5080 instead of 5060 - meaning they are in the PUBLIC context rather than authenticated. Should 5080 be locked down so that not any IP can send inbound traffic to them? Is this...

Outgoing CallerID on Follow me calls

Hello, Not sure if it's the right thing to do replying to a thread that's just over a year old, but I've got exactly the same issue now! I discovered it when using follow me from a Call Center, it seems to work fine from Ring Groups now! The exact same fix as suggested by @SBTech still...

Do you accept Video Tutorial Requests?

These have helped me no end - and there's only currently 2! If there was an option to request one, I could definitely do with one for the new Number Translations feature of FusionPBX 4.2 I appreciate these take time to create too, so would be happy to make a small donation (along with other...

    New Number Translations Feature

Has anyone used the new number translations feature? From reading the docs, it does seem a relatively straight forward but pretty involved process in getting it up and running. Has anyone had any success with this or ran in to any issues? I think it'd be useful for when you have failover...

Fail2ban - Whitelist IPs that are in the Access Control?

Yeah I had a feeling you were going to say that! :-) In the end I just had a word with my trunk provider to stop sending me numbers I'd previously cancelled which I found in the freeswitch.log.6 :D

Fail2ban - Whitelist IPs that are in the Access Control?

Hi I'm having a strange occurrence where one of my SIP trunk providers is managing to get one of their signalling IP's blocked by FusionPBX / Fail2ban in the fusionpbx-404 jail. I can't find the log that that fail2ban filter is looking over, however I assume its the freeswitch.log based on...

    Connection to Event Socket failed.

I have IPV6 configured by default by Debian, but the configs all point to 127.0.0.1

    Connection to Event Socket failed.

That's the thing - it always seems to start. It even says running when you check the services. But no connection via fs_cli and Fusion. Doing a service restart allows the socket connections via fs_cli and fusion, however I've noticed it won't respond to any SIP Register messages when the issue...

And no - nothing in a very populated freeswitch.log:

    Connection to Event Socket failed.

I even started FreeSWITCH from console and it doesn't spit out any errors - especially relating to any failures (there are a couple of generic debug messages regarding MoH bit rates etc) but nothing serious. Yes, Jessie: Distributor ID: Debian Description: Debian GNU/Linux 8.11 (jessie)...
