    Connection to Event Socket failed.

OK just checked it out. FreeSwitch loads fine in the logs after literally a few seconds Log ends in: I allowed uptime to get over 12 minutes and it's still failing to connect via Fusion: Connection to Event Socket failed. and fs_cli: [ERROR] fs_cli.c:1659 main() Error Connecting [Socket...

    Connection to Event Socket failed.

It is Debian, I'll check the 10 min when I'm home shortly. No idea why a service freeswitch restart resolves it instantly though. Wouldn't haveged missing mean it would never work?

    Connection to Event Socket failed.

Done that, shows up as it would when it works. Even service freeswitch status shows fine with no error.

    Connection to Event Socket failed.

I am playing with a brand new install of FusionPBX. It's a dedicated server and after rebooting, it sometimes shows on the FusionPBX server: Connection to Event Socket failed. (see attached screenshot: ) When trying to load up fs_cli it throws out the error: [ERROR] fs_cli.c:1659 main()...

Date & Time Conditions stuck in GMT Timestamp?

I said correct time, not timezone - I mean the little JS popup you get allowing you to select the time in the Time Conditions section of FusionPBX :-) It's OK though, I can resolve this by following @DigitalDaz recommendations. :D

    No ping in registrations list

Just a bit of education really. Why do some UDP-NAT registered endpoints show 0.00 ping in the registrations page, and others show the ping fine? From what I've gathered, it is something to do with the internal SIP profile settings for NAT need to be weakened for this to work better?

Date & Time Conditions stuck in GMT Timestamp?

Anyone else noticed this? If the server is set in BST (British Summer Time), then time conditions are an hour out - even though being set by the FusionPBX popup calendar as the correct time. In dial plan, they are the correct time and date, but when the server is in BST - they don't kick in...

Call Recording - Call Quality Reduced and Glitchy

If I even saw a remote spike in CPU, RAM or io it would give me a lead! But I have nothing.

Call Recording - Call Quality Reduced and Glitchy

Couldn't be the phones I'm using could it? It does seem pretty mixed severity depending on the phones. i.e. my old Cisco 7940 seems worse then GXP2140s seem bad but not as bad, and then my DP15's seem to be the most resilient but still have problems. All using either PCMA or PCMU codec by...

Call Recording - Call Quality Reduced and Glitchy

Oh dear, it would help if my posts were half accurate. I meant to signify me using the netinst 64bit OS, the file I actually downloaded and installed is: debian-8.10.0-amd64-netinst.iso Sorry!

Call Recording - Call Quality Reduced and Glitchy

I'm starting to come to terms with my only last hope is to literally clean install, and set everything up from scratch again manually, just incase I've screwed up one of the configs somewhere along the line (I doubt it!) or that FS is optimised in some way to its original (less capable) hardware.

Call Recording - Call Quality Reduced and Glitchy

On a really beefy server, I just downloaded this: https://cdimage.debian.org/debian-cd/current/amd64/iso-cd/debian-9.4.0-amd64-netinst.iso from here: https://www.debian.org/CD/netinst/ and then followed your video guide to move the hardware over.

Call Recording - Call Quality Reduced and Glitchy

I was thinking, because I'm transferring all of the config and data over to new hardware, is it possible that after all this time, it's a config issue of some sort? https://www.pbxforums.com/threads/moving-fusionpbx-to-new-hardware.818/ When you install FusionPBX / FreeSwitch does it optimise...

Call Recording - Call Quality Reduced and Glitchy

This absolutely can't be resource - it has to be configuration or something. Nothing has changed though and I've moved Fusion to new hardware and copied over just the scripts (as per your really useful guide!) and the issue carries across. I've not specified codecs or anything. Obviously...

Call Recording - Call Quality Reduced and Glitchy

Exactly. It's crazy! I have some ring groups setup, and some call centre queues - call centre queues are set to record inbound too. Do you record call centre queues? I have about 5 different domains, and only 50 extensions registered across the board. Average call load is under 5. Resource /...

Call Recording - Call Quality Reduced and Glitchy

OK I've got an old Cisco 7940 sat in the far corner of my desk. Whenever I try and use that when call recording is enabled, it's by far the worst performer. Misses out 75% of the call. When I disable call recording on Fusion - it works flawless. I've never had this issue with call recording on...
