Thanks for these great suggestions I found also the Fanvil H2S that would be perfect . The model does not have a template listed in Fusionpbx but probably would still work just fine.

Wish it was my DNS but thats not it your link is going to 1.8.5. My workaround for now is to just copy the fusionpbx-install.sh directory from a prior system for when your repo did work.

Could be the DNS servers I am using did not update.. will switch to external DNS and try again.

did a clean install with debian-9.9.0-amd64-netinst.iso in vmware then ran the below commands wget -O - https://raw.githubusercontent.com/digidaz/fusionpbx-install.sh/master/debian/pre-install.sh | sh; cd /usr/src/fusionpbx-install.sh/debian && ./install.sh

Does this still install 1.8.4, for some reason it shows 1.8.5 installed going to wipe and reinstall to verify. (1.8.5~6~31281a0bf1~stretch-1~stretch+1).

Have you tried changing the strategy to "enterprise" yet? I had to to this so the receptionist would still see new incoming calls while on the phone part of a ring group

Digi the above install instructions will install with 1.8.4? and will I need to hold back running apt-get updates until they release a updated package?

This does work just make sure under Fusionpbx the fax extension under advanced SIP bypass media is set for Proxy and on the SPA112 Fax enable T38 is set to yes which I am sure you already have done.

So your saying it is not possible to fax to machines using POTS?

are you referring to the ITSP? Because many ITSPs support T.38 can use them as a "fax gateway" ITSP-->FusionPBX-->analog telephone adapter (ATA)-->Traditional Fax For us we use Flowroute which we have always been able to send and receive to other customers.....

I have over 200+ traditional fax machines setup this way.

Thats what an ATA is for to convert analog to SIP and the ATA supports T38 for faxes, Your SIP trunk has to support T38 Fax as well. This is all you need.

The Cisco SPA112 is the t38 gateway

ITSP Flowroute supports T38 on the DID then add to FusionPBX pointing the DID to the SPA112 extension then traditional fax connects to the SPA112 ATA

After creating your extension I just take the password go over to your Zoiper client assuming this is windows software version enter extensionnumber@yourFQDN:5060 for provisioning and the password from your extension. Assuming you got your SIP ports open on your firewall/router Example...
