Hi Guys,

I'm trying to do a voice recording for the IVR.

I have gone to the Dial Manager and changed the pin.

When I try and dial *732 from IPHandset or sip phone I don't get the voice prompt .

I don't see any setting in the extension to allow / disallow recording ?

Is there a setting for this please ?

What is the order of the dialplan on your system? Mine is set to 400 and is working fine.

Same 400

I checked the dial plan list I had 2 IVRs on the same number so I changed them.
I changed the number to *700 and it is working on the sip phones but not on the Grandstream IPPhone or the std phone on an ATA.

Does the * command conflict with anything on these phones ?

Grandstream phones have these annoying call features turned on by default that will cause *732 to not work because it conflicts with the *73 feature code on Grandstream phones to disable call forwarding.

Have you turned off the feature codes on your Grandstream phone?

Default provisioning templates turn off the internal features.
That should not be the problem anyway.

You assumed he provisioned the phone not everyone does that. This feature doesn't fail so it is most likely the phone's dialplan preventing if from dialing the number.

In the Grandstream IPPhone there is :

Use # as Dial Key
NoYes I have set this to No.

What is the syntax to allow the extention to use *723 and other * features please

It's a setting that needs to be turned off in the Grandstream phone web GUI if you aren't using auto provisioning with FusionPBX.

Not sure what Grandstream model you're using but the GXP 2130-2160, this setting is found under Accounts > Account 1 > Feature Codes

See attached.
