Debian 9 or 10 for new installs

Ok the way I did it with Buster was first of all, update and upgrade by issuing # apt -t buster-backports update followed by # apt -t buster-backports upgrade. I did not do the quick install because of the mislocated php link. I downloaded the install to /usr/src then edited the respective...

Debian 9 or 10 for new installs

As far as DigitalDaz,s idea of fail2ban, I bet most of the time that is why people can't get in or register so that should be one of the first places to look. I had to put ignore on my two home IP addresses because Fail2ban didn't like me doing a bazillion things at once with Nginx. At least we...

Debian 9 or 10 for new installs

Actually it was your reported error that caused me to look into it so it pays to see something say something as far as this goes. Does the W60B work now?

Debian 9 or 10 for new installs

I'm curious if your W60B didn't like the old version 1 of TLS? Try it with the 1.2 setting and report here.

Debian 9 or 10 for new installs

OK now add me to the list of successful FusionPBX on Buster success stories. I discovered one disadvantage of importing the database on a new install being the outdated TLS version that I had been saving in my database. I guess the version of TLS is dictated more by the actual server and...

Debian 9 or 10 for new installs

Ok I changed TLS version in variables to 1.2 and the remaining clients I left on tls started connecting. It was set to 1 originally, not even 1.0 or 1.1 but 1. I believe the certs in Freeswitch will handle V1.3 these days. EDIT: The cert itself is not necessarily the defining factor, the...

That is the only issue I am having also now, I had to switch to udp. Now to get TLS working on Buster.

Debian 9 or 10 for new installs

Not according to the logs, I did try it with fail2ban off for a time and since I do have the Grandstream app on my phone I tried there as well since it is a totally different network ip range. I'll do my searching today definitely. Since I am getting all my incoming calls through the external...

Debian 9 or 10 for new installs

The only issue I have now is that not only am I unable to register phones to extensions but there is no indication that freeswitch is receiving the attempts, sip statuses look fine. Anveo Direct is able to route calls into the system and I can leave voicemails and the voicemails get mailed I...

Debian 9 or 10 for new installs

Ok, the file exists in the 2018 directory, I just added /usr/lib/php/20160303 and linked it in there to see what happens. Edit: In the installer there is a script to install the ioncube at /usr/src/fusionpbx-install.sh/debian/ioncube.sh , I changed 20160303 to 20180731 and did a fresh install...

This is weird, it is looking for a 2016 directory.

    Freeswitch 1.9

This is quite an old thread that someone responded to. I'm sure 1.8.x has little to to with whether or not 9 will be compatible with the fusionpbx front end, it's just too speculative at this stage of Freeswitch development. I have no idea what you were wanting to install it on last Septemeber...

SOLVED Upgraded to Debian 9 and Freeswitch 1.8, External will not start.

The internal ssl directory was wrong as well. It just so happens that before the upgrade ssl was turned off for internal and external so I never noticed.

Ok so I went into the variables and changed the ssl directory tls as follows and it works now: external_ssl_dir $${conf_dir}/tls

The if statement in the source code is: if (profile->wss_bindurl) { stream->write_function(stream, " <wss-bind-url>%s</wss-bind-url>\n", switch_str_nil(profile->wss_bindurl)); I should mention that I checked and nothing is bound to port 5080 using...

Hello I tried to do a search here with this error: [ERR] sofia.c:3228 Error Creating SIP UA for profile: external Everything works as before except sip external. As one would guess, since internal still works, I can call extension to extension and access voicemail. I am trying to figure out...
