Up to date recommendedations on US DID hosting

Any recomendations so I can get a US number? I used sipgate way back when they had US numbers. I found callcentric a little unreliable. What else is there?

Anything specific you are looking for? IP authentication, Registration? Per minute billing or unlimited?

So all I need is a DID I can register to for incoming calls. I have little need to dial out across the pond, but I do receive calls. Minimum cost and just the one number.

Any advice appreciated.

Flowroute, Voip.ms, and Skyetel, are all solid options with multiple easy setup options and all have similar costs.
Bulkvs is less "polished looking" but has very competitive inbound pricing and has been reliable for us.

I have been using Telnyx for about 7 months, easy setup.

+1 for Telnyx, I've had good luck as my primary carrier with voip.ms as backup
