Evening.
I've been trying in vain to set UK ringback tone for the whole system.
If I understand correctly, I need to verify that there's a uk-ring variable under ringtones, checked and double checked.
Then I create two variables under the "defaults" category - ringback and transfer_ringback, and set them both to $$(uk-ring). Again, checked and double checked. At the top of the variables page, it says a switch restart is necessary, which I've done.
With the ringback and transfer_ringback variables set, if I try to call another extension, it goes straight to voicemail. If I delete them and restart the switch, all works again but with the default US style ring. I've also tried using $(uk-ring) as the variable data - to no avail.
Does anyone have a pointer as to where I'm going wrong?
Thanks in advance
Nick
