Can't reply to this:

Trying to troubleshoot why no CDRs are shown on a new install.
I have found with an install of 5.1.0 on Debian 12 in Azure that cron isn't installed. I don't know if this is a "feature" of Azure's Debian image, or what, but installing cron and then creating the cron job from that thread has sorted this.

I discovered the same issue, i use OVH as a host and cron isnt installed on debian 12 on a fresh install of a vps either.

The servers I worked on had cron installed by default. So I've now added a command to install cron.

Best solution is to import CDR records from the file system.
  • HTTP POST requires escaping the POST perfectly which FreeSWITCH doesn't do 100% of the time.
  • Also HTTP POST is less efficient.
  • Import from the file system scales better and more reliable
