I gave it my best shot using a combination of exporting a factory reset X4U, and then exporting the XML config once again when it had been auto provisioned with the X4 template, which does mostly work - then using beyond compare to see the differences and filling in the variable names - but no dice, I am trying to backwards engineer a new template with a basic understanding of how this works.
challenges using just the X4 template I have found are:
- changing the default http user/pass
- suppressing the language selection / vlan info on factory reset
- setting line keys in the keys section, i.e. all 3 line keys for same ext to manage multiple calls
sure there are lots more things..
Notice the force provision in fusion has no affect with Fanvil handsets either, quite a bit to go with these guys, handsets seam very nice and they fill the gap when a user wants lots of BLF keys but not a huge $$ expansion module
cant see this being too high on the priority list for mark unless he is being compensated from fanvil for his time..?
