Problems answering calls

** Solved - issue was the cell network

Anyone having problems this morning? I notice there's been daily sofia updates via apt this past week.

What's happening here is, call comes in, phone rings, when call is answered it simply says 'State Destroy'?

I'm actually hearing of problems with the UK mobile phone network - this could be related, but I'm not sure.

Anyone else?

Steve

Turns out this was down to the mobile networks. After troubleshooting half the day all the problems disappeared..

Which brings me to something else, diverted calls - I know there's a variable set for calls diverted from a cellphone, it shows on some voip phones, how can I set an inbound route that deals with calls diverted from xxxxx ? I see the variable h_diversion (I think it was), can this be used and if so in what contect as my tests were fruitless!

I guess the diversion header would have to be set by the carrier, you may never get to see this, you would need to check the incoming sip in sngrep.

Seems the diversion header is sent out (for some phones at least) already. I noticed my yealink shows it on screen as 'via xxxxxxxxxxx'. Further tracking through logs has allowed me to create a condition that follows accordingly.

This could be useful for those who use a cellphone but also have a local extension. On my cell network for example, I have all call diverts (voicemail/not answered.not available etc) forwarded to a DID that freeswitch handles. Now I can forward based on who the divert came from too.

I've gone way off topic from the one at the top, but hope this inspires some :)
