No ringback tone when call recording is enabled on extension

Hi guys,

I have a wierd issue, when i set an extension to record calls i get no ringback tone when calling it from another extension, when i disable recording the ringback tone works as expected.

Ive read on the forum that disabling AMR works but that unfortunately has not worked for me.

Everything was working as expected until a reboot.

Currently running on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS

Can't say I've noticed it myself, however I reckon it's because early_media is getting enabled but a ringback isn't being played by FreeSwitch.

I would experiment with the application ring_ready in the user_record dialplan or the local_extension dialplan.

Everything was working as expected until a reboot.

That's worrying!

I've the same problem, but not sure where and how to add the Ring_ready in the user_record dialplan. Can you show me?

This should do it, this is in Dialplan Manager -> user_record, right at the bottom.
