So I have Flowroute as a gateway, it requires I prefix nnnnnnn* (tech),

In the cdrs of the extension as the 'user' logs in, that prefix is apparent in the destination so you can't click it to dial

It would be nice to strip the prefix before writing to the cdr database

I couldn't figure that out, so I tried to add ^NNNNNNN*({11})$ as an outbound route but that seems neither to work

can anyone point me in the right direction?

Hi @Dick Ollett ,

Unless I'm misunderstanding you, for Flowroute I believe the prefix is not included in the destination/dialplan, but within the Gateway under "Auth Username" and "Username" fields only. For Auth Username to appear, you may need to click "Advanced" while defining the Gateway.

As a heads up, and not related to your error, for Flowroute ensure that you have "1" prefix in your dialplan. Some trunk providers don't require this, but Flowroute does.

Well you can more securely use ip auth with Flowroute, that is when you need the
"tech" prefix. as such the user/password is ignored. we have both 10 and 11 digit routes set up as appropriate, that's not the problem , all outbound calls completing by any preferred NANP dialing convention.
