New call groups

A little clarification on call groups, if anyone can help shed some light.
I need to set up something where the offices only intercept (*8) their own calls. Right now if someone hits *8 to grab a call, they might be grabbing an office's call from 200 miles away. So, after a little research this is what call groups are good for.
However, in my pbx it says:
Code:
 Enter the user call group here. Groups available by default: sales, support, billing.
So, how do I add more? Are they free form, put in whatever you'd like? Or is there a list somewhere I need to edit?
