Need to Hire some help

We have a multi-tenant setup that we are having trouble getting operating the way we need it to operate.
We would like to hire someone to help assist in getting things working.

As long as all the phones are on the same network they seem to work fine.

When we put a router in place between the main network and the client we start having issues.
- One site everything seems to work fine but the phones seem to go to sleep. They stay registered and you can call out or extension to extension but if the phone sits there for over 1 min you can no longer call into the extension without making some kind of call on the phone then it will receive calls until it sets idle for 1 min then you have to do it all over again.
- One site you can call out and call extension to extension but no incoming calls. (This one uses a ring group that seems to have something to do with it.

This is just a couple of the things we are dealing with so if you have the time and feel you can help with this and other issues we are looking to hire someone to work on an as needed bases.

Sounds like you are using AAstra phones.

You said put a router between the main network and the client? I'm assuming this is a nat router? I suspect you need to enable options ping(check under extension config). This periodically sends a sip options packet to the client and "tricks" the firewall into not closing the port.
