Issue auto provisioning the GRR2163

Hi all,

I am having an issue with Auto provisioning the GRP2613 phones, we also have some GXP2170s that provisioned perfectly fine but the GRP2613 do not want to.
We can manually provision them and they work, but we would like to get the auto provisioning working.

We used the same auto provisioning setting as we did for the 2170 on the 2613 apart from the template which we changed to the correct phone. I tried old firmware on the phones and also the latest firmware but still no luck.

We are also unable to auto provision the address book, but that might be the same issue.

Has anyone had any issues provisioning these?

PBX Version is 4.5.20 Debian 10

I haven't had any issues with provisioning 2613's or any other 26xx series.
As for the phone book make sure the URL is correct "my.domain.com/app/provision/pb/" for the phonebook the trailing "/" is required as opposed to the regular provisioning url of my.domain.com/app/provision

I also didn´t get the phonebook to work on the GRP2616 - followed https://github.com/fusionpbx/fusion...ates/provision/grandstream/gxp2170/README.txt but no success...

That readme is old and for an older style of phonebook template.
The default settings needed are "contact_extensions" "contact_groups" and "contact_users"
Check your phonebook template to make sure it matches https://github.com/fusionpbx/fusion...s/provision/grandstream/grp2613/phonebook.xml
I linked the 2613 phonebook, but all Grandstream phonebook.xml templates are the same (or should be)

How about "contact_grandstream"?
Following your advice I only see the internal users in the phonebook - no other contacts

I still have "contact_grandstream" in my system but I don't see it referenced anywhere.

For other contacts to show up, you have to assign the contact to a user or group. For a user contact to show up, the device has to be assigned to the same user
In "contact edit" page

Also may need "grandstream_global_contact_groups" assigned.

I don't have any "group" contacts at the moment so haven't fully tested the group functionality.
