Hi

i’m new to FusionPBX, our sip trunk provider only give us the following parameters

- Ip address and Port
- Caller Id
- No registration required

as there are many fields in the gateway page, I don’t know in what fields should I put them? Any body can help me please.

I would advice you play around with fields,
Gateway: Put your Gateway Name,
put dummy username and password and set registration to false ,
from domain put your provided ip ,
proxy field put in your provided ip ,
others you can ignore and depending on your setup
you can set the profile field to external or Internal,
and make sure to got to advance and access controls
to allow access from your porvided ip

I have named the gateway name:

set the domain name to the sip trunk’s ip
set the proxy to the sip trunk’s ip and port
set the profile to internal
set registration to false
set the from-user to the sip trunk number (ie. 62211234) that I got from the sip trunk provider
set dummy username & password
and enabled it.

and set allow to sip trunk provider’s ip in the access control

But I see the status is STOP.

What I missed?

The first major thing there is that the profile should be set to external not internal.

Whenever you make changes to a gateway you must stop it and start it again.

Hi,

if you see from the enclosed screenshot, the state shown "NOREG", is it normal since based on the sip trunk provider's requirement we have to set false to the register option.

need advice
thank you

The attached screenshot is how it should look. Also make sure you "reload" the ACL after adding the provider's IP.
Next steps would be to add appropriate inbound and outbound routes. Then test
