FusionPBX Quickbooks integration, Possible?

Hi,

Love this forum I've learned so much.

Was wondering if it's possible to do a cdr import directly into quickbooks and add on customer monthly invoice like a small report you've used xxxx amount of minutes and maybe charge extra for the international calls.

Any input will be appreciated.

You would need to pick your scripting/programming language of choice and build something to query the database for the records your want then parse the results and write the correct information for quickbooks to absorb.

FusionPBX isn't a particularly good place to do per minute billing or tracking. Its flexibility makes it hard to accurately make those determinations. I track through my carrier by did, but that has its own caveats and limitations. The approach to get good tracking and billing is putting your calls through a billing system between FusionPBX and your carrier.

Often this works by setting up a separate gateway per customer between FusionPBX and the billing system so that it can track minutes both inbound and outbound reliably and accurately. Those systems also are more likely to have accounting package integrations
