Hi guys,
I tried to register a trunk of a alcatel-lucent pbx, but it only worked by registering as an extension in fusionpbx. How do I forward incoming calls to this extension to other extensions?

Thank you

Hi,

Thank you! It worked by configuring the extension whti "condition" "destination number" and "action" "transfer" "ring group".

Now I'm trying to route calls outbound for this extension and to send to destination other PBX(Alcatel. Do you have any idea how I could do it?

Thank you,

You register a new Gateway with the SIP extension details from the Alcatel, then create a new outbound route pointing to that gateway.

You will often need both. A gateway for outbound calls and an extension for inbound calls.

Hi, Thank you for answer.

What I would like to do and forward calls to another pbx through an extension and not a gateway, is this possible?

"gateway" can be many things.
In your case, "gateway" will push calls though an extension.

I cannot tell you how to do this on the "alcatel-lucent pbx", but I can tell you how to do this on FusionPBX.

1. Create the extension on the destination PBX
2. Go to FusionPBX Accounts > Gateways, and fill in (at least) the Username, Password, Proxy settings
3. Go to Dialplan > Outbound Routes and create a route that will use the new gateway created

You should be able to call through to extensions on the other PBX this way though the extension on the destination PBX (not back without replicating this on the other PBX though)
