Feature restrictions by Group for users

hi there , im new to FusionPBX.
just wondering if its possible to restrict features like Call Recording, Conference Access, Outbound dialing etc.. by assigning a different group role to the user.
ive added new groups and can restrict what the user can see but not what they can do.

You are on the right lines.

Specify the groups in the menu editor (create a new customised menu or set protected to true, it you don't want updates to alter your edits).

Specify what users can do in the permissions you assign to the groups. Don't forget to remove the permissions from the default group. For example if the "Users" group has the permission "can eat cake" and you want only the "Eating Cake" group to have this permission, add it to the "Eating cake" group and remove it from the "Users" group.
