enable/disable/record outage mesage to be played before IVR from any phone

We have oncall staff that works remotely and need to be able to call into an extension to record an outage message. We can have the tech call in and change an extension's greeting esy enough. I need to know if there is a way using feature codes to enable/disable that greeting so it plays before inbound calls get to our regular IVR. Needs to work if there is no greeting.

You should look at putting a Call Flow in place. You can then use a Feature Code to easily Activate/Deactivate it.

Once you create the Call Flow, have your Inbound Destination pointed to the Call Flow as the Action.
