Hello,

Can anyone advise how email to fax works in fusionpbx?

I have fax to email working already but i need to send fax by my email client.

Hello. It works for me fine at version 4.5.19.
Send an email with the subject: [fax_out],1701234567 and it will send fax to the number 1701234567

I tried so but it didn't work. I'm not sure if I'm doing the right way to send or not. Attached is my mail configure and how i send it.

I can send faxes from the fax server by fusionpbx GUI though.

Also, which log file should o look into to discover any errors?

There is a log file in a strange place, I wonder why it is not in /var/log directory (maybe for viewing from the web, cause it is owned by www-data), but it is here: /var/lib/freeswitch/storage/fax/emailed_faxes.log

* * * * * php /var/www/fusionpbx/app/fax/fax_emails.php

then

configure IMAP settings in fax server > advanced settings

then

configure email subject tag

then

configure authorized senders

then

SHOOT EMAIL to FAX
