Download new autoprovsioning scripts from github and installing into fusionpbx

Hi all, I think I can download some new autoprovisioning files on git hub and install into fusionpbx - is therer a how to for this? All I really need is the locations on github and fusion, I think the location to install to is
/var/www/fusionpbx/resources/templates/provision/

But does fusionpbx automatically integrate this is I just add the file?

Are they updated regularly on github?

Official templates are here https://github.com/fusionpbx/fusionpbx/tree/master/resources/templates/provision and are automatically installed/updated when you upgrade fusionpbx.

Any other templates you find or produce will automatically be found/used if placed in the appropriate directory. /var/www/fusionpbx/resources/templates/provision is where it would start. You would then want to place new templates in the correct "brand" directory. If you are using a modified version of an existing model template, you would want to give the model directory a custom name to avoid conflicts when upgrading.

For example, "../provision/yealink/t54w" is a standard template. If you want a custom version, create "../provision/yealink/t54w-custom"

This is perfect info thanks very much! I am on 4.4.11 and I have a template for t54w but no directory - might I have fudged this? I have a faint memory of fudging the template but i can't remeber how - in the drop down template in the gui - where does that get populated from? i think I might need to point it to the new file.....

The drop downs pull from the directory structure. ../provision/manufacturer/model/
As long as www-data has read access to the directory, it should populate.

Also keep in mind the link I posted was to the 4.5 branch which is updated fairly often. There are changes in most of the newer templates that are not compatible with 4.4

The developer highly recommends people to upgrade from 4.4 because of security risks and lack of updates in that branch.
