Domain based call set up

I just installed a new test Fusion VM after a long time and noticed there is a domain section under each SIP profile. Could someone please tell me what these "alias" and "parse" of domains are for? Thanks.

I am testing a domain based set up for the first time; unable to get outbound calls working.

So far I have a domain ( eg. lan), an extension registered in the domain, a gateway is registered, an outbound route is in place.

All my outbound calls fail with NO_ROUTE_DESTINATION. Any pointers would be really helpful....

Looks like I overlooked something.....might be able to fix it myself
