Current HA recommended configuration

Apologies if this isn't the right place the ask the question. I have a paid membership but my tickets and queries are left unanswered for months so not sure where to turn.

We are wanting to deploy a fresh HA setup and migrate our user base from our existing tenants.

What is the current recommended method for doing this? I've seen recently that the recommended configuration has changed. Is a SIP Proxy also recommended?
