Hi,
I am new to fusionpbx and trying to setup Call Manager to work with fusionpbx.
Any suggestions on how I can get sip inbound/outbound working between the two. I tried setting up a gateway with a dummy username/password but see "FAIL_WAIT" under State.

I have never touched Cisco Call Manager so can't comment on that side unfortunately. However, you can send calls to 24726@Fusion_IP:5080 and have an inbound route to allow destination number 24726 through to a ring group or something........

There is ver 7 available for download:
I thought I just download and install into a VM for a play.......apparently it is very picky about the hardware and it kept throwing "hardware not supported" error.......and I gave up! I don't understand why people are prepared to pay big money for it and then go through all these inconveniences? It must be so good and feature rich if you can install it successfully......

It has to be with certain specs. Cisco provides OVA template for the vms.
Try
80 gig h/d
4 gig ram
LSI logic SAS

Thanks Gabriel.....this time it went almost til the end and then crashed; apparently the script ran beyond the allocated time!!!! I then did a media check; it shows a failure......not sure if it is the image or my download. I'll wait for DigitalDaz to install......

I had the same problem so gave up. I'm not interested enough at the moment to put it on bare metal :)
