Change Default Voicemail

I have had a look but couldn't find the answer.

I want to change the default voicemail message when a call isn't answered.

The current message is the "Person at extension xxx is unavailable..." when I upload a greeting it adds it before this message which I don't want.

I tried to add to the dial plan skip_greeting=true and skip_instructions=true but it stops the uploaded greeting playing as well

Any ideas?

you add it to the voice mail greeting

menu > application > voicemail > look for greeting on that page

I have added it there which plays but once the uploaded greeting is finished it then plays vm-record_message.wav which is the default

Forgot to add when uploading a greeting it does replace the default extension xxx is unavailable message but it doesn't stop the next message about stop talking or hang up

Fixed it change type from set to export there is a bit of delay between the greeting and the tone but least the message is gone

You only need skip_instructions, not skip_greeting in your dial plan.
Mine looks like this.
