Hi,
I am using SIP trunking from IXICA and it seems everything works except for callerID on my cellphone when I call from the desk phone shows as "unavailable". I reached out to IXICA and they mentioned the below:
Here is the issue. I have traced the call and here is the issue in the INVITE.
We are getting the name correctly. but the number field is showing testrunkld (this is my username for my sip trunk)
"Capturing Legacies" is the name field. This is correct.
But after sip: we need a number in there and not the userid which is testtrunkld. The freeswitch engine is placing this into the INVITE.
Since we have IP based enabled you can try not using registration and that should be fix it. (I tried this on the gateway and it still didnt work)
If you can change your settings to get the number in the construction of the INVITE then you should be good.
I know other customers that had a similar problem with using Freeswitch unfortunately we don't know how it was fixed by our other customers
Does anyone know how to get around this issue?
Kind regards,
Monty
