I have created a dial plan which works well with BulkVS. If I fill in the location information in the 911 record the psap knows exactly where the call came from. However, to use their dynamic 911 services they say to add "ng911" to the Floor/Room location of the registered DID file and add X-ng911 to the extension header in my FusionPBX. I don't see anywhere to do that in FusionPBX, does anyone have a clue how to do this?

From the other thread:
Something along the lines of:

<action application="set" data="sip_h_ X-ng911r=${effective_caller_id_number}"/>
Or as I mentioned use sip_from_user variable to avoid caller id mix ups.

This would need to be set in you outbound route for 911 calls.

I was going to ask this! I am happy you got it working.
My understanding is the value "should"/could be something like "Floor 2, Room 100". From what I understand of that snipped above in the outbound route, it would be setting the value to the extension for the phone, correct?

I wonder if setting it to the "Emergency Caller ID Name" field and using that textbox as the location would do me well...

That is an option also. Basically any extension specific variable should work.

I just looked at their instructions and yes they expect that header to be the specific location data such as Room 1234 so the emergency cid name field would be a fairly good choice.
