Auto Dialer for FreeSWITCH – Now with Predictive Dialing & Call Transcription!

Hey everyone,

I’ve been working on an auto dialer for FreeSWITCH to support my sales team since Fusion doesn’t have this feature. The next version will include predictive dialing and automatic call transcription to improve efficiency and workflow. I have build this on FusionPBX but has my own GUI still using some of the Postgres’s DB info for auto dial.

Would this be useful for anyone here? I’d love to get some feedback from the community. Let’s discuss!

Hi,

How does this differ from Call broadcast (light dialer) and Campaign Dialer (High capacity call dialer) in FusionPBX?

FusionPBX is great but the user friendlyness and lack of modern design fitting for non technical users is in my opinion the biggest downside for now.

In the case of dialers in FusionPBX this is no exception and the reason to why our sales team can't really use it and therefore choose to use a separate external provider for this.

All you'd like to share about your work and thoughts on why it's needed is appreciated.

@whut The fusionpbx-app-phone is meant as a browser-based softphone. It's not a dialer in the sense of this forum post.

@MrObscured FusionPBX has been improved year after year in all areas.

As far as phone dialers it's not my priority. I'm not that excited about dialers because they are often abused.

The more phone spam that exists will lead to more regulations we will have to endure as an industry.

@markjcrane I agree on all of those points.

I understand that a dialer is not something you and the FusionPBX team would prioritize, and most likely shouldn't prioritize.

Keep up the great work with improving FusionPBX!
