SOLVED 4.4 acess denied on bridge tab

I have upgrade my fusionpbx from 4.2 to 4.4. Now I have an app->bridges option. When I click on it I keep getting "access denied" and then kicks me out of. I have to log back in. All the other links work fine, except for this one.

I have tried setting the permissions to default and that did not help.

Any suggestions?

that was the exact document I followed. All other links are there and my users and ext are there as well. Apparently it is just the bridge link that is broken.
