    This happens every single time i install a new pbx, you simply add it to teh fail2ban ignore as said above and it stops the issue, not sure why it bans it just know it must be added, which is probably best practice anyway :-)

    The issue is fixed already, you need to ensure that there is an smtp server setup for outbound emails and also ensure in default settings that its turned on, then reload the gu and it works.

    If you are using gmail ensure that on your gmail account you have enabled " enable less secure apps" this caught me out when i started with fusionpbx.
