    In my case, I had forgotten to enable the setting "enabled". The name of the setting is "enabled", it is in "Default settings", under the group "Provision". Set "enabled" to true.

    This has been solved. Turns out From header was the problem. Fusion (very normally) sends its own public IP with the "From:" header by default while the provider required it's host name. So I edited the gateway, set "From Domain" to the provider host name, it worked. (After restarting the gateway.)

Why I thought this could be a viable approach was that because pretty much interestingly, Yealink phones worked without a fqdn, by just typing "user@domain" into the username field. I wouldn't have expected that to work now knowing that fqdn is the way to go...

    I had similar problem and it turned out I forgot to forward RTP ports when moving the config from local to a VPS (just like yours, it has a public and private IP). Have you configured RTP ports to forward from the public IP to the local one? (If there is a firewall or NAT involved of course.)

    This has been solved. I have been testing Fusion on a local instance and since both phones and the server were local, I hadn't needed RTP ports to be configured in NAT. But now my candidate production instance is on a VPS and behind a firewall. I forwarded the RTP ports and hang up issue resolved.
