    Thats great m8, thanks alot as a side note is the above possible to upgrade from 1.6 to 1.8.4 ? although the node is running deb 8 ? maybe deb 8 cant run 1.8.4 ? Also using teh above does that keep all the fusionpbx configs ?

    Upgrade to lastest master branch i had the same issue some time ago and that fixed my problems. They have changed quite alot in the emial setup.

    We use 1and1 for our cloud pbx's never ever had any issues with nat, all your issues are being caused as stated above by Daz , nat is your enemy :-)

    This happens every single time i install a new pbx, you simply add it to teh fail2ban ignore as said above and it stops the issue, not sure why it bans it just know it must be added, which is probably best practice anyway :-)

    The issue is fixed already, you need to ensure that there is an smtp server setup for outbound emails and also ensure in default settings that its turned on, then reload the gu and it works.
