Maybe others can help with achieving this with Ring group, but I would use a Call Center for that. I hope that helpsThis question keeps on coming up from my customers,
I made a ring group with 10 yealink phones, Call rings and answered by phone extension 101 (for example) now Ext 102 wants to see on her phone who called but since 101 answered the call the call history does not show any sign of that call.
Any help with this?
So, i tried a Ring Group, when no one answers the call the call history shows missed call on all phones , my question is if the call does get answered by ext 101 for example ext 102 should still be able to see on his phone that someone called.Maybe others can help with achieving this with Ring group, but I would use a Call Center for that. I hope that helps
that make sense, thanksYealink decides to discard the SIP CANCEL (Call Completed Elsewhere) and doesn't show it in the missed call history. Probably worth a post on the Yealink forums, see if they have a hidden config line to change it. You probably won't be able to resolve this in FreeSWITCH, as it's doing what the RFCs say to.
tried that and it didnt workI had the similar issue with yealink, then I changed the Ring Strategy from Enterprise to Simultenaious and it seem to work.
