Hello there,

I have one user who has their own PBX and multiple DID's and currently have them setup as an extension using this handy snippet found in the forums here "bridge:sofia/internal/sip:$1${regex(${sofia_contact(extension@serverdomain)}|^[^@]+(.*)|%1)}".

This works quite well except I have lost ringback on all but the main DID assigned on the Asterisk side somehow (very strange) and have tried to no end with settings options etc...

What I would like to accomplish is setting this up as a gateway instead but I am still a bit green to FusionPBX. Where I struggle is with knowing what details really matter for a successful trunk on the Fusion side and routing those DID's correctly.

FusionPBX is the gateway, Asterisk the client.

I am imagining the following:
1. Add Asterisk IP under AccessControl -> domains
2.Create Gateway with user/pass, Hostname (is from Domain, realm, profile required? Should profile really be External when relaying the outbound calls to the Asterisk server?)
3.Forwarding the call: Would I do this in the inbound routes by adding a string that forwards it to the gateway? I could use some help with this part for sure!

Thanks!
Jordan
