Snom Directory

@krooney the snom templates will populate the directory from 1) the list of extensions, and 2) the contacts application. Contacts must be managed carefully for them to populate directories for any phone makes and models. I suspect most people will ignore the contacts application because it is not well understood. To populate do this:
- create/edit a contact within your chosen domain
- populate first name and last name fields in the Name section
- set the label as appropriate: home, work...
- set the type to voice
- add a phone number to the number textbox within the Number section

Thanks for the update it does populate the contacts from the extension list but not from the contacts list that is my problem right now.
I have successfully added to the snom directory by following those contacts application steps.
By reviewing the "tbook" specs https://service.snom.com/display/wiki/<tbook>,<phone-book>+tag and by reviewing the snom provisioning templates I can see there is room for small improvements for the snom directory. Contact Type as one example. Probably not a big deal for you.
