nway-conference, can somebody explain to me what it is?

I have a GXP2140 phone and I am trying to get nway-conference to work, I do not know exactly how its supposed to work but from what I gather it replaces the built in conference feature/button on my phone.

I have set the nway_conference default setting to true (this successfully configured the Conference URI advance feature on my phone) and I have also enabled the nway_conference dialplan.

So testing I phoned my desk phone and while on a call I pressed the conference button, this successfully transfered one call to nway{$EXT}@{$MY_PBX_FQDN} but if I cannot do it with two.

Last time I checked, nway doesn't work properly with Grandstreams (at least not most of them)

Yealink for sure and possibly others
