This is sort of crazy, maybe someone has faced the same.
Some (but not all) extensions in a certain domain stopped sending ringback tone when dialed to. It was consistent for these extensions and reproducible in a simple extension-to-extension call. I could see valid early media SDP in both directions, response 183 or 180 etc., but no ringback RTP sent on behalf of the target extension to the calling phone. It's not a NAT issue: connecting the same phones in the same network to other extensions, there was good ringback tone.
Trying to see if a ring group may help:
Having no clue what happened, I'm afraid that the problem may pop up again, so I'd appreciate if anyone may have an explanation.

- I created a ring group, dialed through it to the target extension, and heard ringback tone
- Then I deleted this ring group, dialed directly extension to extension as before, and the ringback tone is there
