Is there a way to limit simultaneous channels on a gateway or an outbound route?

In outbound route there is a limit option.

Sorry if I'm being dense, but I don't see it in outbound routes. Is it a condition variable?

Its actually only there as a field when you create a new outbound route.

For an existing one just add something like this before the bridge:
