Hi
I am new to Fusion PBX , but have some knowledge on Asterisk/Free PBX, the old system which I was hoping to replace with Fusion PBX at some stage.
I managed to get the following sorted so far:
- Installed FusionPBX 4.2.4 and Switch 1.6.19 (64bit) on a Debian VPS
- Created 2 extensions to which I can connect with Sipdroid on Port 5060
(internal IPV4 profile)
- I can make internal calls between the 2 extensions
But I am currently out of luck to forward a DID number from my number provider.
If I forward it to the VPS with
extension@ip-of-vps
Fusion rejects the inbound call.
If forwarded with
did_number@ip-of-vps
same result, it also rejects the call
I have of course created an inbound destination and the DID number shows up as an inbound route.
On the Free PBX system I used an unmonitored (not registering) inbound trunk with these specifications to catch calls from the DID provider:
> host=did-provider-ip
> dtmfmode=rfc2833
> type=peer
> context=from-trunk
> insecure=very
> nat=never
> allow=all
Wanted to create something similar in Fusion PBX Gateways but it continues to ask for a username and password. It won't let me create the trunk without these details.
Could somebody please point me to a direction where I need to look to fix inbound calls?
If it helps, I have 3 entries in the domain selector
- 127.0.0.2 (was there since installation)
- ip-of-vps (added this)
- domain name (added this)
Thanks
Peter
