im getting high cpu usage but im looking at logs and cant fing anything

Are you getting heavy traffic on any of your interfaces? You might be getting DOS'd and fail2ban is having a hard time keeping up? if not maybe restart fail2ban?

Thanks for the reply @bcmike i did just that actually a few times its better but even PHP is higher than usual. Would you know where i should look

Fail2ban just parses log files for specific keywords. If your log files are rapidly growing then fail2ban will run more or take longer to run. You may want to watch your logs to see which one is the offender.

If it's the FreeSWITCH log, consider setting the log level lower. So if it's set to DEBUG, then change it to NOTICE. Something like that.
