I have a user that would like a dial in number that will play a message that they record, and then hang up.
Currently have it set up with a recording, but looking for a way that they can easily update this via phone when needed.

Voicemail is the easiest method for the user to record a new greeting, is there any way to use this and have it simply hang up after it plays the greeting?
They do not want any voicemails to be left for this number, as it is for information only.

Use greeting messages for ring groups. If you have no destination for this ring group the call end as soon as recording ends. You can easily record new greetings for ring groups by dialing *732. It's as easy as recording a voicemail greeting.

Yes use the *732 feature and just record in to the same greeting slot each time. Once it's initially created you can add this to a ring group greeting with no destinations and it will hand up on completion.

Thanks!

I knew you could create recordings using *732, I just didnt realize that it would overwrite the same file.

This should make the entire process very easy for them.
