Fax to Email - Keep Local

Hi all,

V4.4

Having issues with received faxes being kept/stored.

Have set keep_local to false in default settings however they are still being saved and able to be downloaded after emailing.

Anywhere I should look?

Easy fix is to delete them during maintenance cron job.
Have a look at /etc/corn.daily/maintenance.sh and edit the lines to delete faxes X days old.
Then edit he file name to remove “.sh” or create a specific cron job

A workaroud I guess, but I would prefer they just not be saved at all. Is there a file somewhere I can modify maybe?

There Is certainly a file that can be modified but I’m not sure which one exactly without looking it up. One of the php files somewhere in the app/fax directory handles it. Any changes you make would cause issues with upgrades.
