Hello,
I've been trying to get provisioning to work generating a phonebook.xml file for my Grandstream phones (Mix of 2170, 2135, 1628) from the Contacts App and all I can get it to do is generate an empty file that just contains the following:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?><AddressBook>
<version>1</version>
</AddressBook>
I have followed the guide I found here to no avail. I thought that maybe this was a Grandstream specific issue, so I have also tried using Yealink templates and it just generates an equivalent empty file. I have checked made sure that the correct user is assigned to the device and has access to the contact. I have also tried setting up contact groups described in the aforementioned guide, with the same result.
I'm trying to learn more about how things work behind the scenes, but I'm not sure at what point the phonebook file is getting generated or what logs may be related to this. If anyone can help point me in the right direction, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks!
