CDR - Call Detail Records

When I delete records from the CDR in the GUI under Applications, does this delete the CDR and Recording off the entire server?

Just wondering if it only deletes the visual a the gui or if it really removes ALL

It removes the CDR from database and by default is the only place CDR would be found.

And recordings from a call are stored on the filesystem and would not be deleted from simply deleting a CDR record.
