When checking call recording I noticed that randomly (about 1 out of 10) some recordings are playing at exactly 2X speed.
Call recordings are set as ALL at Extension level.
Calls are incoming calls through Call center.

Another post mentioned setting codec variables, but there seems to be no change.
global_codec_prefs PCMU,PCMA
outbound_codec_prefs PCMU,PCMA

Anyone faced a similar issue ?

Yes, I had that issue. Do you also have Call Recording enabled on the Call Center end? or the agent end? You should only have it enabled once.

Yes. That was the issue.

Disabled recording on Call center,
Enabled recording on Agent.
Enabled Outgoing recording on extension.

Now its seems to be fixed.

Symptoms
Audio playback of call recording is too fast

Bug
This seems to be a bug in FreeSWITCH. That causes the audio to playback too fast.

Solution
Make sure the call is recorded only one time.
