ACL, Context or Domain

Hello, this is my usage scenario:
Extensions connect to extension@mypbx.myserver.tld however some of my older devices translate the dns address into it ip and instead try to connect to extension@192.168.1.100

Some of the older documentation says to add the domain and then the ip’s to the acl (this feature has changed), the newer documentation says to use the context field (in the extension).

I have tried both, unsuccessfully. I would prefer not to add a domain if possible. How do I get my pbx to accept extension@192.168.1.100 to my domain?

Access controls edit page no longer shows the domain column because this it is handled automatically for people. This column was a pointer telling FreeSWITCH what domains have CIDR defined on the extension. This has been simplified by doing it automatically for people. Which means CIDR on the extension edit page will work without any additional work that most people didn't realize they needed to do.
